With more than 230 possible destinations, TGV allows you to discover the diversity of all the regions of France. Our first-rate city centre to city centre service links Paris to the main regional capitals, including Lyon, Nantes, Marseille, Bordeaux, Strasbourg, Lille, Rennes and Montpellier, as well as the Alps, the French Riviera and the Atlantic coast.
With Railteam, it is easier than ever to access the French TGV network via the two Railteam hubs, Lille Europe and Brussels-Midi, and the connecting stations of Marne-la-Vallée, Roissy CDG, Strasbourg, and Lyon Part-Dieu.
On-board services
TGV seating is designed for your well-being. On several routes you’ll have a chance to discover TGV’s latest interior designed by Christian Lacroix.
Enjoy top quality comfortable reclining seats, headrests, fold-away trays, footrests and personal reading lights, while in 1st class power outlets can be used to recharge your laptop or mobile phone. There are two office areas dedicated to business travellers, and some specific areas have also been designed for families and disabled travellers.
Choose from frequently renewed menus at the TGV bar, which include hot dishes, set menus and a wide variety of drinks. Our trains are also equipped with automatic vending machines where you can purchase a range of hot and cold drinks, snacks and sweets.

BackPractical information
Booking is mandatory for travel on board TGV. Booking fees are included in the ticket price.
Booking is possible up to three months prior to departure. The earlier you book, the cheaper your ticket may be. On the day you travel you will need to validate your ticket before boarding, using one of the punching machines that can be easily located in every SNCF station.
Luggage must be labelled visibly with the traveller’s full name. The following items of luggage are accepted at no extra cost and must be stored in the racks provided: hand luggage (suitcases, travel bags, rucksacks); skis in a bag; children’s prams; dismantled bikes in a bag; portable wakeboards in a bag.
All trains are now totally non-smoking.
