Network
Thalys’ high-speed services offer travellers fast and seamless journeys several times a day between Belgium, France, Germany and the Netherlands.
Thalys runs services between Paris, Brussels, Cologne and Amsterdam and 12 other European cities. From each of these stations travellers can make a simple change of trains – with one of our Railteam partners – to connect to other European destinations.
Moreover, Thalys offers direct summer services from The Netherlands, Antwerp and Brussels to Valence, Avignon, Aix-en-Provence and Marseille in the South of France and direct winter services from The Netherlands, Antwerp and Brussels to the French Alps.
On-board services
Aboard Thalys you can travel in Comfort 1 and Comfort 2.
In Comfort 1 you are personally welcomed aboard, you are offered a meal in your seat and you can order a taxi on board for your connexion in Brussels and Paris. A variety of newspapers and magazines in various languages is available free of charge on all trains.
Thalys is your office on the road thanks to electric sockets that you can use to recharge your electronic equipment while you travel.
Recently we offer you, both in Comfort 1 and 2, continuous broadband connectivity throughout the entire Thalys network.
BackServices in stations
Thalys’ Paris-Nord and Brussels-South stations include car parking facilities, comfortable departure lounges, a variety of shops, and WiFi access throughout. What’s more, Thalys The Card travellers can make use of the Business Premier lounges in each of the stations. In both these stations there is a special Thalys welcome desk where you can get all information on Thalys you need.
BackPractical information
Booking is mandatory for Thalys travel. Travellers can book up to three months prior to departure. The earlier you book, the more likely you’ll find a cheaper ticket.
Tickets can be ordered on our website, in stations, by telephone, at authorised travel agencies, etc.
With Thalys Ticketless you can travel without a paper ticket to all Thalys destinations.
