Lyria, subsidary of SNCF and CFF is responsible for theTGV Lyria high speed service running between Paris and Switzerland. TGV Lyria offers high-speed transport with quality services in order to ensure pleasant and comfortable journeys for all its clients.

Lyria is always working to improve its services, and there are currently engineering works being carried out on the Haut Bugey line between Bellegarde and Bourg-en-Bresse, the TGV Rhine-Rhone line between Paris and Basel – Zurich, and on the line between Dijon and Lausanne (callsed the Arc Jurassien region). These works will result in reduced journey times and increased train frequency.

As of 2012, a dedicated rolling stock (Duplex new Generation) will be running eventually on TGV Lyria routes allowing the deployment of new on-board services.

Lyria is an associated member of Railteam, and aims to take part in the development of the European high-speed network, enabling rail to become the future of European travel, offering to customers a fast, seamless and comfortable means of travel between Europe’s main cities.
